The Beauty Bar, located at 13 E A St, Newton, NC 28658, is committed to providing high-quality beauty and wellness services in compliance with all applicable North Carolina laws and regulations. These Terms and Conditions, including the Privacy Policy and other policies outlined below, govern your use of our website, services, and interactions with our business. By accessing the website, scheduling an appointment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, with changes effective upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modifications.

We offer a range of beauty and wellness services, including permanent makeup, Botox injections, facials, massages, and more, as detailed on our website. All services are performed by licensed professionals in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners (NCAC Title 21, Chapter 14) and the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy (NCAC Title 21, Chapter 30), which require sanitary management, proper licensing, and adherence to physical requirements for cosmetic art shops and spas. Services involving medical procedures (e.g., Botox, IV hydration) are conducted with a thorough physical assessment by a licensed physician, as required by North Carolina med spa regulations (NC Medical Board guidelines). We do not provide haircutting services.

Appointments are scheduled by phone at 828-312-7916. A deposit of $50 may be required for certain services (e.g., permanent makeup), which is non-refundable if canceled within 24 hours. We require 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. No-shows or late cancellations incur a $25 fee, deducted from the deposit or charged to the client, in line with North Carolina consumer protection laws (NC Gen Stat § 75-1.1) ensuring fair business practices. Refunds for deposits are not issued for missed appointments, but we strive to accommodate rescheduling where possible.

Payments for services are due at the time of appointment and can be made via cash, credit card, or other accepted methods. We use secure payment processing compliant with North Carolina consumer protection laws. All prices are subject to change without notice, and any taxes or fees are the client’s responsibility. No refunds are provided for completed services, per standard industry practice.

The Beauty Bar is not liable for any damages, injuries, or allergic reactions arising from our services, to the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law. Clients are advised to disclose medical history prior to treatments. For medspa services, risks are discussed during consultation, and services are not substitutes for medical advice. The website is provided “as is,” without warranties, and we disclaim liability for errors or omissions. In accordance with NC Gen Stat § 75-1.1, we operate in good faith, but limit liability to the service price.

We adhere to North Carolina sanitary codes (NCAC Title 21, Chapter 14) for all cosmetic art services, including proper sanitation and equipment maintenance. Children are not permitted in treatment areas for safety reasons. Clients must follow staff instructions during appointments. For massage services, we comply with NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy regulations (NCAC Title 21, Chapter 30). If you have health concerns, consult a physician before services.

We collect personal information (e.g., name, email, phone) solely for appointment and communication purposes, in compliance with North Carolina data protection laws and the North Carolina Identity Theft Protection Act (NC Gen Stat § 75-60). Data is not shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law. We use secure measures to protect your information, but no system is infallible.
